SCSD Achieves Platinum Status on College, Career and Readiness Platform

Simpson County School District (SCSD) has been recognized as a Platinum Power User by career and college readiness platform MajorClarity. This achievement signifies SCSD’s commitment to making college, career and life readiness an important student focus.
Introduced to SCSD students this school year, MajorClarity is an all-in-one career readiness and academic planning platform that helps our scholars make decisions about careers, colleges, scholarships and goals.
As a Platinum Power User, SCSD is among the Top 10% of districts from across the nation to use the platform and have met the following stats:
  • 70 percent or more of all student accounts have been activated this school year;
  • 65 percent or more of those students have returned to their account two times or more this school year, indicating recurring usage; and
  • Student-to-staff adoption rate of 120:1 or less, measured as a ratio of number of active students per each active staff member, showcasing strong staff participation.
On June 7, SCSD will be recognized in the first-ever MajorClarity User Awards virtual ceremony for reaching Platinum Power User status.
