Simpson County Academy’s Star Student is Scott Maddox. Scott is the son of Keith and Joanna Maddox. He is a member of Corinth Baptist Church where he is an active member of the youth group. He is a member of the MAIS Honors Society, ACT 25 Club and Headmaster’s List at SCA. Scott scored a composite score of 29 and a super score of 31 on his ACT.
Scott is a member of the varsity basketball team, golf team and tennis team at SCA. He was recently named Most Intellectual and Most Likely to Succeed by his student body. He will be attending The University of Southern Mississippi where he was awarded a membership to the Honors College and selected as a recipient of the Honors College Discovery Scholarship. There he will pursue a degree in pre med.
