Simpson County School District dismissing at 2:00 PM

The Simpson County School District will have an early dismissal starting at 12:45 (Wednesday 9/11) and will be closed Thursday 9/12 due to Hurricane Francine

Simpson Academy

Wednesday, September 11th: Elementary students will dismiss at 1:00 PM. Junior High and High School students will dismiss at 1:15 PM.

Thursday, September 12th: SCA will remain closed.

Friday, September 13th: SCA will re-open. Buses will run both morning and afternoon.

 

The Smith County School District, along with the Smith County Emergency Management Agency and the Board of Supervisors, are closely monitoring the weather and Tropical Storm Francine. At this time, Smith County schools will resume as normal tomorrow morning. After lunch, the situation will be revisited, and a decision will be made moving forward. As always, our top priority is the safety of our students and staff.

 

Magee City Hall will be closed Thursday and if weather permits reopen Friday.  No garbage collection on Thursday
