After weeks of hard campaigning on both sides of the issue, the School Bond failed 43% (for) and 57% (against).
These are unofficial numbers and do not contain the absentee ballots.
A total of 3,824 votes were cast. Voter turn out was 23%. There are 16,984 registered voters in Simpson County.
