Simpson County Academy honored 9/11 victims and all veterans at their pep rally on September 11, 2015.  The pep rally theme this week was patriotic in honor of 9/11.  Each SCA student was encouraged to write the name of a special veteran on a balloon.  All of the veterans at the pep rally were recognized.  Some of the veterans recognized included Rudy Runnels, Jon Horton, Andrew Waldrup, and Kyle Brister representing his father Mark Brister who is currently serving overseas.  Jamie May sang “God Bless the USA” to the veterans and received a standing ovation from the crowd of students, teachers, and parents.

This week was Leake Week for Simpson Academy.  The Cougars will be playing Leake Academy tonight at Leake starting at 7 PM.  Come out and support the Cougars!
