Local residents are receiving phone calls from a foreign male (heavy accent) saying he is with the
Windows Based Company. He informs the person that their computer is receiving error messages and making it
necessary for “Windows” to take over and clean their computer before the computer crashes and all information is lost.
The person is quite convincing and people assume this is an “upstanding” company…well, it is not!!!
DO NOT give out any information to the caller…he is trying to get control of your computer and steal your identity.
