Simpson County Academy announced the Top 3 Students for the Class of 2021.

Noah Overstreet was chosen as Valedictorian. Overstreet is the son of Jeff and Angel Overstreet of Magee and the grandson of Lila Neely and Dr. Wyck and Brenda Neely. Noah plans to attend Copiah Lincoln Community College and study Biology and Pre-Medicine. Noah is a Mississippi Scholar, ACT 25+ Club, Headmasterl List, Phi Theda Kappa, and Honor Society. Noah is active in his schools activities and member of several clubs and organizations. Noah was a member of the Track and Cross Country for Simpson. Noah made Allstate in Cross Country his 10th and 11th grade.

Ramsey Jones was chosen as Salutatorian for the Class.  Jones is the son of Chris and Dana Jones of Mendenhall. Noah enjoys sports and was a member of the golf, tennis and archery teams at Simpson. He severed as a statitionist for the football and basketball teams. Jones is a Mississippi Scholar, Phi Theda Kappa, Honor Society, ACT 25 + Club, and Headmaster list. He was chosen as Most Spiritual and Most Handsome at SCA. Jones placed Superior in the State Bible Drills. Jones plans to attend Copiah Lincoln Community College.

Mollie Jones was selected as Historian for her senior class. Mollie is the daughter of Kelly and Ashley Jones of Magee. Mollie is a Mississippi Scholar, member of the ACT 25 + club, Headmaster list, Presidential Scholar, and Promote the Vote Essay Contest Winner. Mollie is involved in sports and various clubs and organizations. She is a member fo the Varsity Basketball team, Mu Alpha Theta, and National Honor Society. Mollie served as a member of the Mayor’s Youth Council, Simpson County Youth Leadership, FBLA Volunteer, and participates in Bible Drills. Mollie plans to attend Jones College and transfer to the University of Southern Mississippi majoring in Accounting and Minor in International Business.
