Simpson Academy held their local spelling bee for grades 4-8 on Tuesday, Nov. 5. The winner from each grade level will advance to District Competition which will be held at Wayne Academy on Wednesday, Dec. 4.
Elementary winners were Paxten Dale (6th grade), Riley Wesbrooks (5th grade), and Nathan Sykes (4th grade).
Junior high winners were Colt Sorey (8th grade) and Emma Scoggins (7th grade).
