4th, 5th, and 6th grade students at Simpson Academy recently presented Be Smart, Don’t Start, a drug education musical program on the specific facts about drugs.
Solving problems with the help of craaa-zee Dr. E and Dr. F and specific facts provided by super heroes Captain Specific 1 and Captain Specific 2, students learned the importance of staying drug-free. Some of the songs included Get Involved, It’s OK, Drug Free Me, Be Smart-Don’t Start, and from Disney’s Lion King, Never Too Late.
One speaking part mentioned “alcohol is a drug- an addictive drug– you can’t live with it, you can’t live without it.”
