On Friday, September 14, Simpson County Academy celebrated their annual Homecoming. The Homecoming celeberations have taken place over the past week with student dress-up days and school decorations. The student body elected Homecoming Maids to represent the 10th-12th grades on Friday night. The maids included; Sophmore Maids Maddie Moody, Claire Polk, Gracie Welch, Rayelle Nations, Junior Maids Hattie Grace Ashmore, Jenna Simonini, Anna Claire Walker, Sabra Hubbard, Senior Maids Morgan Griffith, Adeline Bond, Kylie Roberts, and Alexis Sullivan. The Homecoming Court was also joined by 2017 Homecoming Queen Bailey Sartin. Bailey crowned this year’s queen, Morgan Griffith. The celebrations were topped of with a major Cougar victory over Natchez Cathedral, 54-20.
