On November 14, Simpson Academy held their program to honor veterans. The program featured multiple students giving speeches to show their appreciation towards the service of veterans. Senior Jacob Shows’ senior project involved helping many organizations that deal with veterans, and at the program he gave a $3500 check to the Warrior Bonfire Program. This program is designed to give veterans a campfire type setting that will allow them the opportunity to deal with their past. Those who have served this country are truly the best, and thank you to all that have sacrificed.

Veterans Day
SCA Government teacher Amy McWilliams visits each veteran present. Each veteran told which branch they served in and their length of service.
