Simpson Academy played Oak Forest, on Saturday, February 18, 2023. The cougars played a tough game that ended in their favor. The ending score was 60-50. Pillow Academy hosted the MAIS 5A State Tournament. The top three teams from the tournament advance to the MAIS Overall Tournament hosted at Mississippi College. Simpson’s boys will play Jackson Academy on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at 4:45 p.m.
Congratulations to Chanse Funchess, Colin Jenkins, Sawyer Dunn, and Gage Smith for making the MAIS 5A All-tournament team.
