On Monday November 12, the MAIS held a banquet to honor the teams that have made it to the Championship Game of their division. Simpson Academy was in attendance at the event with coaching staff and senior players Thomas Pepper, Corbin Hosey, Cole McAlpin, and Daniel Pepper. The Cougars will play against the Lamar Raiders for the State Title, the same school that Simpson played last year. The Cougars are calling on all fans to show up and be loud on Thursday at 2:30 to cheer them on at Jackson Academy’s field. MageeNews.com will be covering the game on Thursday.
