Sarah Margaret Williamson, 80 of Mendenhall, MS passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022 at the Magee General Hospital in Magee, MS. She was born Monday, May 25, 1942 in Hazlehurst, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 1, 2023 from 12:00 P.M. until 2:30 P.M. following with the Funeral services being held at 2:30 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3077 Simpson Hwy 13, Mendenhall, Mississippi. Burial will follow in Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery in Mendenhall, Mississippi. Bro Donald Green will officiate. Margaret loved her church family and teaching at Mt Zion School. She enjoyed spending time and cooking for her five children, She adored all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed flowers, talking on the phone with siblings and shopping at antique stores. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and adored her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Shill and Sarah Serio Shill; brothers, John W. Shill and Clay Shill; sister, Ellen Bailey.
Survivors include her sons, Grafton Grubbs, Jr. of Pearl, MS, Mark Vernon Grubbs (Susan) of Brandon, MS; daughters, Marsha Jo Grubbs Brown (Gerald) of Mendenhall, MS, Teresa Gwen Chestnut (Steve) of Magee, MS and Kathy Grubbs Peacock of Brandon, MS; brothers, Francis Shill (Jo), Danny Shill (Ana),and Jimmy Shill (Shirley); sisters, Donna McCurley (Tom), Barbara Graphia, Emily Seale (Jackie) andHelen Lee (Billy), numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews
Pallbearers will be Jason Lee, Bryce Brown, Zach Grubbs, Heath Tullos, Chris May, and Billy Seghini.
