Magee resident Sara Skinner is guided by a deep calling to love and support foster children. In 2020, Sara and her husband felt the Lord leading them toward a new purpose—caring for children in need. Since then, their family has opened their home to 12 foster children and joyfully adopted three.
From Sara’s compassion grew Foster Life Ministries, an organization dedicated to supplying essential items for foster children. Their “Closet,” located just across the highway from the Boswell gate, is stocked with clothing and necessities for people of all ages—not just kids.
Right now, Foster Life Ministries is working to fulfill the Christmas wish lists of children in need. When the project began, 45 children were awaiting sponsorship. Today, only two remain—something Sara calls “a miracle.”
