Sara B. Laird, 72, of D’Lo, MS passed away Monday at Bedford Nursing Home in Mendenhall. She was born Saturday, August 4, 1945 in Sumrall, MS.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mendenhall.

Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Mendenhall City Cemetery Bro. Julian Davis will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-4401.

Mrs. Laird was preceded in death by Parents, Leotha Burkett and Ruth Burkett; Brother, Robert Burkett.

Survivors include her Husband of 49 years Fred Laird of D’Lo, MS; Son, Michael Laird of New Orleans, Louisiana; Sisters, Betty Catt and Sheila Bourn (David).

Memorial donations may be made the American Cancer Society 1380 Livingston Lane, Jackson, MS 39213 or Main Street Baptist Church in Mendenhall, MS ask for The Gideons.
