Mr. & Mrs. Claus made an appearance during the annual Magee Christmas parade hosted by the Magee Chamber of Commerce Tuesday, December 8, 2020.

The parade drew a large crowd of spectators and was enjoyed by all in attendance.

Floats, bands, cheer, beauty queens, and dance teams, along with emergency response agency vehicles were all part of the excitement of the evening.

Serving as Grand Marshall was Magee’s own former Mayor Jimmy Clyde.

Diane McPhail was Magee’s Hall of Fame!

Rev. Ralph Walker was chosen as the Spirit of Magee.

Chloe White Magee’s Miss Hospitality and her Little Ms Hospitality greeted everyone!

Police and fire trucks were a hit with the small children with their fancy lights and sirens.

Boys Scouts marched and presented colors for prayer and Pledge of Allegiance!

The Goldwing Riders Association lead the parade off

The Magee High School State 3A Football Champions made a special appearance. The team received loud cheers from the public as they made their way through town.

Several bands participated in the parade. Magee, Puckett, Mendenhall and Magee Middle School.

1st Place float was Boswell

2nd Place winner was the Sheriff’s Department

3rd Place winner was Mt. Zion Academy! These students did a great job on their float!
