Special Board Meeting of Simpson County School Board, Monday, April 27th, 5:30 PM

Sadie Kate was selected in July 2017 by MSSDAR State Regent Cindy McNamara to serve as personal page to President General Dillon during her stay in Mississippi.

Becoming a personal page to a national officer is a prestigious opportunity that many DAR pages never receive.

Sadie Kate has been a DAR page for four years, serving at the local, district & state levels. She has received an invitation to page in Washington D.C. at the week-long National Daughters of the American Revolution Continental Congress in June 2019.

Sadie Kate enjoyed her time spent with Mrs. Dillon who was very outgoing & friendly & displayed a witty demeanor. Sadie Kate is thankful for being chosen as Mrs. Dillon’s personal page and greatly appreciates this honor. She has received many kudos within the DAR for her grace & poise with Mrs. Dillon, and for a personal page job well done as a representative of the state of Mississippi and the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Sadie Kate is the 16-year-old homeschooled daughter of Brian C. & Audra Kennedy (Chief Red Jacket Society, MSSDAR) of Magee. She is the granddaughter of Shelby & Barbara Colson (Chief Red Jacket Society, MSSDAR), & Bobbie Kennedy & the late Jim Kennedy, all of Magee. Sadie Kate is the great-niece of Aubrey & Maxine Nolen (Chief Red Jacket Society, MSSDAR) of Raymond, MS. Sadie Kate is the President of the Gerard C. Brandon Society, Children of the American Revolution. She is the current Mississippi State Society Children of the American Revolution Organizing Secretary.
