Ruth Lowery Luckey, 86, of Mize, MS died Friday, June 3, 2016 at her residence in Mize. She was born Thursday, October 3, 1929 in Smith County, MS.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 5, 2016 at 2:30 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee. Burial will follow in Waco-Fairmont Cemetery in Mize. Bro. Paul Barnard will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601)849-5031
Mrs. Luckey is preceded in death by her Husband of 66 years – Edward Luckey; parents Henry Lowery, and Nettie Mae Lowery.
Mrs. Luckey is survived by her son – Kent Luckey (Adra); daughters – Shirley Smith and Judy Thornton; grandchildren – Kim Rivas (Michael), John Smith, Wayne Thornton (Grace), Taffany Booth (Bob), Great Kellie Sullivan (Lee); great grandchildren – Zack Booth, Montgomery Booth ,Chloe Booth , Caroline Booth , Cooper Booth , Charlee-Kate Booth , Lacey Rivas, Tori Rivas; great great grandchildren – Levi Sullivan , Embry Thornton, Taylor Baron and John Thomas Glenn.
Visitation will be held Saturday, June 4, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee.
