Mrs. Ruby Nell Coulter, 77, of Gallatin, TN  passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born on December 21, 1940 in Magee, MS to the late Luke and Novice Padgett. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Virdue Stubbs.

Ruby enjoyed spending most of her time reading. Her favorite books were romance books by Nora Roberts. After graduating high school, she attended cosmetology school and got her licenses; but after a few years she got out of the business. She also became a nurse for a few years but her heart was being at home watching her kids grow up.

She met and married the loved of her life on September 2, 1962; Mr. Gerald Coulter. They lived in Magee, MS for many years before moving to Gallatin in 1991.

Ruby is survived by her husband, Gerald Coulter; three children, Michael, Rhonda, and Thomas Coulter, and two brothers, Uriel and Darrell Padgett.
