Ruby McBride Craft, 74, of Mize, Mississippi, passed away from her earthly home to her heavenly home on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at Madison Hospital in Canton, Mississippi. She was born Friday, April 4, 1947, in Durant, Mississippi.
A graveside funeral service will be held Friday, October 8, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Jones Cemetery in Mize, Mississippi. Pastor Frank Hornsby will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements. (601) 785-6564
Mrs. Craft was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Mize, Mississippi. She was a loving wife, mother, Mimi, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a graduate of Durant High School. She obtained her Nursing Degree from University of Mississippi Medical Center. She enjoyed being a wife and spending time with her grands. She will be greatly missed by all of her loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Thomas Craft; one grandson, Cross Duvall; father, Emmit Wesley McBride; mother, Delia Bell Toten Hodge; one brother, Wesley McBride; and three sisters, Jewell Caldwell, Mary Ann Johnson, and Sarah McBride.
Survivors include her three sons, Dan Tyner and his wife, Lisa of Mize, Chris Tyner and his wife, Rachelle, of Pearl, and Josh Craft of Mize; three grandchildren, Codey Tyner and his wife, Sarah, of Bay Springs, Chase Tyner of Pearl and Michael Beeman of Kiln; two great-grandsons, Cooper Tyner and Cash Tyner both of Bay Springs, and a host of other family members and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
