Ruby H. Lee passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at her residence at the age of 96.  She was born on October 31, 1921, to James Bott Hawkins and Lela (Edwards) Hawkins in Scott County, MS.

Mrs. Ruby retired from working many years at the Mississippi Department of Human Services.  She loved cooking for her family and spending time with them.  She will truly be missed by all that knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Claudette Cliburn (Charles Ray); grandson, Mike Davis; four great-grandchildren, Jessi, Julia, Wyatt and Lilly Davis.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,  Woodrow Wilson Welch; brother, A.G. Welch; sister, Willie Lois Stubbs; grandchildren, Edwin Davis, Derrell Davis and great-grandchild, Kristy Lynn Davis.

Visitation for friends will be held on Friday, May 4, 2018, at New Bethlehem Baptist Church from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. with services following at 4:00 p.m. Interment will be in New Bethlehem Cemetery.

Arrangements are entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
