Roy Thomas Floyd, also known as R.T., passed away on July 7, 2015 at the age of 87. He was born on March 18, 1928 to the late parents of T.D. and Duria (Maddox) Floyd.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lina Sue (Shows) Floyd; two sons, Thomas Ray Floyd (Brenda), Allen FLoyd (Jerry); two daughters, Lynn McCoy (Lee), Janet Mullins (T.J.); one sister, Flora Gene Robinson; 20 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee, MS from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Services are scheduled for 11:00 am, Thursday, July 9, at New Home Baptist Church, Mendenhall, MS. Interment will follow in the Floyd Family Cemetery. Reverend Ben Rogers and Reverend Trent Sullivan will officiate.
