Ross Lunn
March 14, 1996 – January 12, 2021
Ross Lunn passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at the age of 24 from a tragic automobile accident . He was born on March 14, 1996, to Barry Lunn and Sharon Rice in Jackson, MS.
Ross attended Mendenhall High School where he was heavily involved in sports. He attended college at Ole Miss where he played several different sports there as well. He was athletic and multi-talented. Even as a small child, Ross was the kind of person who never met a stranger. He was always smiling and brought a sense of humor with him everywhere he went. He was always loved greatly and as a young man came to know and treasure great love. He was a man of faith and great compassion. Heaven has gained a seasoned angel. He left a lasting impression on anyone he met.
He is survived by his father, Barry Lunn; mother and stepfather, Sharon and Daniel Rice; brothers, Jake Lunn, Avery Rice; sisters, Emily Lunn, Natalie Rice, McKenzie Pierce; paternal grandmother, Eloise Lunn; maternal grandmother, Kathy Greer Ellis; uncle, Maury Lunn; aunts, Debbie Posey (Billy) and Elise (Page).
Visitation for family and friends will be on Sunday, January 17, 2021, at Corinth Baptist Church, Magee, MS from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm with the service at 3:00 pm. Bro. Jay Wesbrooks will officiate. Interment will follow in Mendenhall City Cemetery.
