Roger Clayton Skinner, 63, of Puckett, Mississippi, passed away July 27, 2016 at UMMC after a two year battle with multiple myeloma.
Visitation will be Friday July 29, 2016, 5:00PM till 9:00PM at Galilee Baptist Church in Puckett, Mississippi. Funeral service will be Saturday July 30, 2016 at 10:00AM at Galilee Baptist Church, with burial to follow in Galilee Baptist Church Cemetery.
Roger was a deacon and member of Galilee Baptist Church.
He retired from Mississippi State Hospital and was a well-known and loved member of the community. Roger enjoyed hunting and spending time with his granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lena Mae and Barney Skinner; his sister, Marlene Taylor; his brothers, Max, Daniel, and Don Skinner.
He is survived by his loving wife, Denise Skinner; sons Jonathan (Amanda), and Thomas (Jordan) Skinner; and one granddaughter, Mary Everett Skinner; two sisters and three brothers—Bonnie (Luther) Hemby, Jean Skinner, Pete (Jennie) Skinner, Bob Skinner, and Jimmy Skinner; and a host of nieces and nephews.
