Robert E Nelson, 80, of Mendenhall, passed from this life Thursday, December 1, 2016 at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall. Burial will be in Cliburn Cemetery.

Mr. Nelson is survived by his daughter, Sandra Nelson Mayo (Bruce) of Mendenhall; sons, Robert E Nelson, Jr. (Rose) of Florence and Ronald Nelson (Judy) of Southaven; nephew, Wayne Michaels of Hattiesburg.
Mr. Nelson is preceded by his wife, Oliva F Nelson; parents, Sebe Miller Nelson, Jr. and Mary Jane Nelson; sister, Janie Michaels.
