Fay (Kay) Brown, 77, of Braxton, Mississippi, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at her home in Braxton, Mississippi. She was born Thursday, June 25, 1942.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Mendenhall.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 20, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Mendenhall. The Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Mt. Olive. Bro. Roger Lee will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. (601) 847-4401

 Mrs. Brown was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Braxton.

She was preceded in death by husband, Verlon Brown; parents, Melvin and Annie Jane Brown; brother, Clarence Brown; sister, Louise Brown; brothers,  Johnny Brown, Wilson Brown; son-in-law, Charles Harrell, Sr.

Survivors include son, Chieco Brown; daughter, Lisa Harrell; grandchildren, Ruthie Sheppard (Colin), Kandace Thomas, Jessica Moran, Ashton Biggs (Austin), Chasity White, Chase Harrell, Madison Goss (Ryan), Joshua Harrell, Kayleigh Harrell, Chris Harrell, and Charles Harrell, Jr. (Kathie); a host of great-grandchildren; brothers,  Jimmy Brown and Nelson Brown.
