RICHARD JONES, PINOLA, MS

Richard Jones passed away on November 27, 2020, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 3, 1946, to his late parents, Joe H Jones and Nell (Douglas) Jones in Jackson, MS.

In his early years, he served his country in The United States Army. He was a retired certified public accountant. He was a member of five different Masonic lodges and held several degrees. He held his York and Scottish Rite degrees in Freemasonry. He also was a member of the Shrine. He loved his family and they were his whole world. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to his fellowman.

Richard is survived by his wife, Diane (McDonald) Jones; three sons, Jonathan Jones (Brooke), Jay Jones (Jeannie), Joe Jones (Lisa); one daughter, Jennifer Hartwick (Mike); brother, Joe D. Jones (Linda); eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, November 29, 2020, at Tutor Funeral Home in Mendenhall, MS from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, November 30, in the Tutor Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. A graveside service will follow at Strong River Cemetery with Bro. Roger Lee officiating.

Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Mendenhall.
