The ribbon was cut and the cars are rolling on the new frontage road in Mendenhall.

Highway Commissioner Tom King and Mendenhall Mayor Todd Booth had the honor of cutting the ceremonial ribbon.  Local officials and friends were in attendance.

The frontage road runs from highway 13 parallel to Highway 49 joining East Street.

Commissioner King and Mayor Booth expressed the hope of the area along the frontage road developing into a haven for additional business in the Mendenhall area.
