Reva Joy Bailey Cain of Mize, Mississippi

Reva Joy Bailey Cain, 73, of Mize, Mississippi, passed away from her earthly home to her heavenly home on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at her home. She was born Monday, March 8, 1948, in Isola, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 26, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee, Mississippi.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 26, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. The burial will follow in Waco Fairmont Cemetery in Mize, Mississippi. Bro. Ronnie Clark and Bro. Jeremy Smith will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031

Mrs. Cain was a member of Waco Church of God of Mize, Mississippi.   She served as a Sunday school teacher, as the church clerk, and enjoyed singing in the church choir.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend.  She was married to her loving husband for fifty-five years.  She loved her two children, five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren dearly.  She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Monroe Cain, Jr.; parents, Clinton Bailey and Annie Burton Bailey; four brothers, Edward Earl Bailey, Boyce Bailey, Albert Lee Bailey, and James Clinton Bailey; three sisters, Edna Wright, Dorothy Dean Fuller, and Barbara Ann McCaig.

Survivors include her loving children, Greg Cain and wife, Lisa, of Mize, and Rory Barnard and husband Phil, of Magee; five grandchildren, Adam Sullivan, Shaina Steadham and husband Daniel, Brice Sullivan, Skylor Cain and wife Jessica, and Bailey Ingram and husband Anthony; eight great-grandchildren, Molly Sullivan, Taylor Sullivan, Makayla Sullivan, Branson Ingram, Ava Cain, Dalleigh Ingram, Jack Steadham, and Stella Steadham; two sisters, Nellie Sue Forbes and husband Milton of Madison, and Katheryn Lambert of Gulfport; and a host of other family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Brent Cain, Joel Cain, Stevie Luckey, Stacey Luckey, Brandon Garner, and Anthony Ingram.  Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Cain, Tommy Cain, Chris Garner, Keith Sullivan, Milton Forbes, and Larry Runnels.
