Rev. Danny Carl Bridges, 65, passed away Monday, May 23, 2016 at MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 24th from 5-8 PM and Wednesday, May 25th from 2:30 PM until the 3:30 PM Funeral Service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories.
Rev. Bridges was reared in Jackson, MS before settling in Florence. He was a US Navy Veteran that served in Vietnam. While serving as a Pastor since 1981 to several local churches, he also worked for MP&L for 7 years then worked at Danny C. Bridges Welding Service for 20 years. He was an avid fisherman and hunter.
Rev. Bridges is preceded in death by his parents, S.F and Christine Bridges and by his brother, Shelby Bridges. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Paula Bridges of Florence; 1 nephew and 2 nieces.
