RENOVATION OR STAYING THE SAME
May God bless you as you read this devotion. Our reading today comes from John 14:3. Jesus says he has gone to prepare a place for us that he would come again and take us to that place he has prepared for us.
What does the word renovated mean? It means to make over new again. Love, joy, and peace are some of the ways we as Christians can be renovated. Being a witness for Jesus is another way. The best way of all is to become a child of God.
Old things are passed away, all things are of God and troubled hearts are no longer troubled. Our hearts are made pure. If we do not let Christ into our life, then we stay the same and dry up and blow away. We miss out on the joy of heaven.
Calvary is where our renovation starts. Come to Jesus just way you are. His arms are stretched out ready to welcome you home. Renovation can start now when we give all to Jesus 100%. Have a great week.
