Renee Stringer, 57, of Magee, Mississippi, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2020, her home in Magee, Mississippi. She was born Saturday, August 4, 1962, in Oakdale, Louisiana.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 16, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee, Mississippi.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee. The burial will follow in Sharon Presbyterian Cemetery. Bro. Joe Metts will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031
Renee was a member of Dry Creek Baptist Church.  She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, nana, sister, and aunt.  She enjoyed spending time on the beach, a devoted Dallas Cowboy fan, and most of all spending time with her grands.
Survivors include her loving husband of 36 years, Jeffery Stringer; two daughters, Jessica Yates (Zeke) and Janna Stringer (Drew Myers); one son, Jordan Stringer; five adoring grands, Aubrey Yates, Axton Yates, Channon Stringer, Ridge Myers, and Rainee Claire Stringer; parents, Manuel Lee and Bulah Hosey; two brothers, Byron Hosey (Pam) and Dane Hosey (Rhonda); two sisters, Lane Yearby and Donna Hosey; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pallbearers will be David Newman, Jeff Wells, Randy Hyde, Scott Vining, Tanner Stringer, and Aaron Burkett. Honorary pallbearers will be Rodney Stringer and Wesley Stringer.
