Rena Catherine Stewart, 72, passed away on Friday, August 28, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson.  She was born on October 22, 1942 to her parents, the late Fordie Smith Sr. and Grace (Cook) Smith.
She is survived by her loving husband, Earnest (Butch) Stewart; three sons, Stanley Stewart, Stephen Stewart,  Samuel Stewart (Lyn); brother, Troy Smith (Kathy); sisters, Linda Sobczak, Annette Laske and two grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, H. F. (Fordie) Smith and one sister, Kathy Middleton.
Visitation will be Monday, August 31, at Corinth Baptist Church from 5:00 – 8:00 pm.  There will be additional visitation on Tuesday, September 1, from 8:00 – 10:00 am with a graveside service to follow in Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery at 10:00 am. Bro Jay Wesbrooks will officiate.
Arrangements are entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
