Role models can be positive or negative.

Don’t put a lot of concern into what others think of you.

REMISSION OF SINS

Have you ever done something to someone or said something to someone and wished you had not said whatever it was?  The question came to mind if only I could be forgiven.

In our devotion today we will read about being forgiven.  Our devotion today comes from Acts 10:43.  To Him give all the prophets witness that through His name whosoever believeth in Him shall have remission of sins.

Salvation is given to all that trust and believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.  No other name given under heaven can save you but the name of Jesus.   There is no such thing as a perfect Christian.  We have all sinned and will not be perfect until we get to heaven which is a perfect place.  The love of God covers all our sins. This is why Jesus gave His life for you and I at a place called Calvary.

When Jesus falls on a person through the Holy Spirit his or her life is changed.

Today Jesus wants to change your life.  He wants to make that house a home.  We must pray without ceasing.  Prayer is the greatest weapon we have but it is the least one used because we are afraid of letting Jesus truly bless us and we can touch the throne of Glory by saying Jesus use me here am I pour your spirit on me like never before.

Jesus wants you today just the way you are.  He wants to open your eyes that you may see, open your ears that you may hear, open your brain that you may absorb, open your heart that you may love, keep the cross on your shoulders, that your feet will not go astray.

What an awesome and mighty God we serve.  Have a blessed, great, and awesome week.

If I can minister supply or fill in for you or your congregation, please contact me at POBox 1161, Magee, MS  39111.
