RECIPE FOR LIFE
When cooking a special food we follow the recipe to make sure it is complete. Todays reading gives us the complete recipe for eternal life.
Our reading comes from Matthew 11:5. The blind receives their sight and the lame walk, the leapers are cleansed and deaf hear, the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them.
This verse describes our houses of worship today, tomorrow, and forever. Jesus says to us follow me for the true recipe of life is in me, through me and by me.
