Rebecca(Becky) Hughes Meggs passed away at her home at the age of 69 in Baton Rouge, LA
on Sunday, December 11th.
Rebecca was born in Simpson County November 21,1947. She was a graduate of Magee
High School.
Her survivors include daughters Tammie Dawn Smith of Magee and Heather Smith Pastorek of Baton Rouge, LA: Son in law Rick Pastorek: Four grandsons James Mason, Noah Jackson, Taylor and Chandler Pastorek all of Baton Rouge, LA: Four siblings
Olyer Hughes of Brookhaven, Brenda Hughes McLaurin of Savannah, GA, Gloria Hughes Reed of Brandon, and Raymond Hughes of Pearl.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Meggs and her parents O.J. and Mary Hughes.
She will be greatly missed by all.
