Ray Wood, 61, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at home. He was born on March 8, 1963, to Henry Ray Wood and Dorothy Windham Wood in Hattiesburg, MS.
He is a retired truck driver.
Ray is survived by his wife, Martha Smith Wood; son, Kevin Lee; daughters, Kristen Kay Sanders (Shannon), Katherine Julene Wood, Christina “Chrissy” Marie Hudson (Dustin); sister, Judith Lynn Moore (Adam); eight grandchildren, Kelsey Cliburn (Austin), Kolton Ned Sanders (Grace), Tori Bowen (Adam), Ryan Ashwell (Kayleigh), Eric Lee (Destiny), Luke Sanders, Samuel Sanders (Erin),Sterling Walter Lee and three great-grandchildren, Hayden Lee, Meadow Bowen and Malachi Cooper.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Ray and Dorothy Wood.
A graveside memorial service will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 10:00 AM. with Bro. Buddy Keyes officiating.

Arrangements are entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
