Randy Powell, 66, from Mendenhall, MS, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022. He was born on February 27, 1956, to Billy Edward and Georgia (May) Powell.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his son, James Powell (Katie); brother, Billy Powell (Vicki); and six grandchildren.
He graduated from Simpson Academy in 1974. He enjoyed painting houses as his career. He was an avid football fan of Ole Miss and the Dallas Cowboys. He was a Marshall for the town of D’LO and worked with the Simpson County Sheriff’s Department for several years.
Visitation will be held Sunday, March 27, 2022, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. at Tutor Funeral Home in Mendenhall, MS. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm at Jupiter cemetery, with Bro. Marcus Burnham and Bro. Jim Taylor officiating.
Arrangements are entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Mendenhall, MS.
