Randy Kenneth Garner, 63, of Magee, Mississippi passed away from his earthly home to his heavenly home on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at the University Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. He was born on Wednesday, March 11, 1959, in Raleigh, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home at 302 8th Ave SW, Magee, Mississippi, and on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Rocky Hill Baptist Church at 142 SCR 116, Magee, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Rocky Hill Baptist Church in Magee, Mississippi. The burial will follow in Rocky Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Magee, Mississippi. Bro. Thomas Sanders and Mr. Ron Moseley will officiate. Special music will be provided by Ms. Molly Parish. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031
Mr. Randy was a member of Rocky Hill Baptist Church in Magee, Mississippi. He was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, playing football, and most of all spending time with his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all of his loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Kenneth Garner; and grandparents, John and Geneva Garner and Olyer and Earline Moseley.
Survivors include his three sons, Grant Garner (Morgan) of Poplarville, MS, Ken Garner of Birmingham, AL and Mitchell Garner (Sarah) of New Orleans, LA; one daughter, Emily Garner of Beech Grove, AR; grandchildren, Harley Franke of Beech Grove, AR, Gracie Felty of Beech Grove, AR and Jackson Garner of Poplarville, MS; mother, Mary Elaine Moseley Garner of Magee, MS; two sisters, Pam Garner Parish of Magee, MS, and Gloria Garner Varnes (Johnny) of Magee, MS; and a host of other family members and friends.
Pallbearers will be Chase Courtney, Jack Hayes, Barron Smith, Joey Higgins, Allen Maddox, and Jeffrey Varnes.
