Randy Barnett passed away on Monday, July 28, 2025, at his residence. He was born on February 24, 1963, to Ray Barnett and Carolyn Jordan Barnett in Laurel, MS.
Randy loved to make people laugh. He loved telling jokes and spending time with his family and friends. He was a fix-it guy and could fix anything you put in front of him. Randy enjoyed scrolling through “Spacebook” and catching up on all the latest activities around town. He loved cooking “kicken” wings for his family gatherings, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Randy had a cat named Max that, wherever he went, you wouldn’t find Max far behind. He loved burnouts and fast cars. Randy was an all-out fun guy who dearly loved his family and will be dearly missed by them.
He was preceded by his father, Ray Barnett, and his brother, Mark Barnett.
Randy is survived by his wife, Jamie Hays Barnett; son Adam Barnett (Kristie); his daughters, Amie Victoria Barnett (Joachin Ivan), Ruby Leann Davis; his four sisters; Linda Puckett, Sandra Burkes, Brenda Gregory, and Marilyn Puckett and twelve grandchildren Johnathon, McKenna, Wyatt, Alyssa, Haden, Emilee, Madison, Trent, Marissa, Roxanna, Katalina, and Ella.
Randy will be profoundly missed by all those whose lives he touched.
Arrangements are entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
