Ralph H. Massey, 93, of Mendenhall, he passed away from his earthly home to his heavenly home on Saturday, April 09, 2022 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. He was born on October 6, 1928 in Vicksburg, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until 2:30 P.M. on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M. on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall. Burial will follow at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery in Mendenhall. Bro. Rodney Anderson will officiate the services. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangement. 601-847-4401
Mr. Massey was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family. He loved to watch westerns on T.V. and spend time doing woodworking, painting, and yard work. When he was able, he loved to attend First Baptist Church of Mendenhall.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Massey; son, Ralph Tyrone Massey; parents, Clifton Clyde and Laura Lucille Massey; two brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by his daughters, Maureen LeGrand of Deputy, IN and Darlene Monday (Damon) of Florence, MS; grandchildren, Maleah Gillis of Jackson, MS, Josh Myers of Brandon, MS, Taylor LeGrand of Madison, IN, Glenn LeGrand of Deputy, IN and Logan LeGrand of Louisville, KY; six great- grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Glenn LeGrand, Logan LeGrand, Josh Myers, and Damon Monday.
