R. C. Harris passed away on September 1, 2016, at the age of 75. He was born on April 10, 1941, to his parents, the (late) Billark C. Harris and Myrtle (Smith) Harris in Smith County.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon (Mayfield) Harris; sons, Todd Harris, Kevin Harris (Amy), Daniel Harris; daughters, Tammy DelaRosa, Kim Rachall (Matt), Stephanie Croy (Clifton), Bridgette Bowman; brothers, Sam Harris, Darrell Harris; sisters, Molly Leonard, Ola Mae Purvis; twenty grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 3, 2016, at Jesus Name Church, 325 MS-540, Raleigh, MS, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Services will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Mark Ramsey, Bro. James Easterling and Bro. Paul Ramsey officiating. Interment will follow at Fairmount- Waco Cemetery in Mize.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
