PUTTING JESUS AWAY
Listen as the Holy Spirit speaks to you today. Our devotion today comes from Matthew 1:19. Then Joseph her husband being a just man and not willing to make her a public example was minded to put her away privily.
This verse tells us Joseph the earthly father of Jesus was too proud of a man to show how proud he was of Mary his wife and Jesus his son. He kept Mary out of the public eye.
Verse 20 tells us of how the angel of the Lord put Joseph in his place. Verse 21 tells us why Jesus was born. The reason was to save us from our sins. Because of the cross of Jesus salvation became possible.
What is Jesus to you? Is he your God of stone? Is he your idol of worship or is he your pilot? If Jesus is anything in your life except your God of salvation then he is a false God in your life, and you are putting him away.
You can become a child of God by repenting, being filled with the Holy Ghost, taking up your cross follow Jesus then serve Him 100%. Want you make this week your week of victory. Have a blessed and wonderful week. Jesus came to save us all.
