By James Davis
The Scriptural passage chosen for this morning is found in 1Timothy 4:9-10: “This is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance (and for this we labor and strive), that we have put our hope in the living God, Who is the Savior of all men, and especially of those who believe.” The apostle is speaking to early Christians, emphasizing the hope that we and all Christians have in Christ Jesus. Man will fail us; society will let us down; but God will never forsake us or leave us. He will be with us through the good times and also those we find challenging. We must put our trust in Him and hold fast to those promises He has made for us through His Word. Jesus came to seek and to save the lost and to give us hope for something beyond the here and the now. Repent daily, draw close to God, and He’ll draw close to us. He is there for us at all times if we’ll but call upon Him. Keep the line of communication open through prayer.
Happy Monday to one and all!
