Copiah-Lincoln Community College was designated a “Purple Heart College” by the Military Order of the Purple Heart.
Co-Lin is the only Mississippi community/junior college to receive this recognition and obtained ‘Proud Purple Heart Supporter’ window decals to promote this achievement.
In 2014, Mendenhall had received similar designation as a “Purple Heart City.”
