 MAGEE, MS  —  Robert J. Barnes, President and CEO, PriorityOne Bank, recently announced the promotion of Whitney Barnes Baker. Baker will be serving as Vice President, Marketing for PriorityOne.  Barnes stated, “Whitney is a key member of PriorityOne Bank and her knowledge of bank marketing makes her a valuable asset and helps us better serve our communities. We are thrilled to be able to honor her hard work with this promotion.”

Whitney who graduated from Magee High School; holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an Emphasis in Graphic Design from the University of Mississippi. She is also a graduate of the ABA School of Bank Marketing and Management. Whitney has 16 years of experience in banking and has been with PriorityOne Bank since 2005. She has served in many areas of the bank, including, Loan Operations, Technology Officer, and Marketing and Advertising Officer.

 

Baker has also served her community in multiple leadership roles, including, Magee Chamber of Commerce, Simpson County Development Foundation, Simpson County Republican Executive Committee Treasurer, Keep Magee Beautiful, City of Magee Board of Aldermen, First Baptist Church of Magee Daycare Board of Directors and Simpson County Arts Alliance. Whitney and her husband, Brad, live in Magee and have three children, Laura James, Barnes and Kadie Ruth.

 

PriorityOne Bank, based in Magee, Mississippi, operates fourteen offices in twelve Mississippi communities: Collins, Seminary, Hattiesburg, Magee, Mendenhall, Richland, Brandon, Ridgeland, Flowood, Pelahatchie, and Morton. The bank has assets of approximately $825 million.
