Priority One Bank in Magee hosted a Reality Fair Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Magee High School. Other business participating were Main Street Realty and Southern Pine Electric and Farm Bureau.
The students were assigned an occupation and had to balance a budget with their salary (water, housing, entertainment, car, groceries, lights, etc.). The students would visit each station and with their budget select a price and package for the necessities. This was real-world application for education.
The students were able to see just how far a pay check can go when the day-to-day operations requirements are taken away from their budget.
