Dear Parents, Students and Community,
We have been made aware of an incident at Mendenhall Jr. High where a rope was seen by students and members of the staff in the cafeteria that resembled a noose.
This matter is under investigation and we are expecting to identify the person responsible for this incident.
If anyone has any information regarding this incident, we ask that you notify the Principal at Mendenhall Jr. High, Mrs. Sydney Magee, or contact the District Office.
Please trust that this type of incident is not tolerated in any of the schools in Simpson County and once the person responsible for doing this is identified, they will be handled according to our policies and procedures.
