Precision Metalforming Association Partners with Longevity Industries to Deliver “Destiny of Manufacturing” Podcast

CLEVELAND, OH—March 20, 2023—The Precision Metalforming Association (PMA) announced today a partnership with Longevity Industries that will include acquiring the Destiny of Manufacturing podcast, adding the popular program to PMA’s growing digital offerings.

The Destiny of Manufacturing podcast, now in its seventh year, is hosted by Longevity Industries’ founder Dean Phillips and features interviews with industry thought leaders that provide insights into the future of manufacturing. Phillips, also a sales engineer with PMA member company Link Systems in Nashville, TN, will continue to host the podcast and develop all content.

“We are excited about our new partnership with Dean Phillips and Longevity Industries,” said David Klotz, PMA president. “We look forward to sharing insights on the podcast from PMA members, including leaders from member manufacturing and supplier companies. Adding this great podcast to PMA’s growing digital platform continues our commitment to build a strong community among members to foster learning and help them achieve continued success.”

Powered by PMA and its flagship publication, MetalForming magazine, the Destiny of Manufacturing podcast will deliver approximately 20 episodes per year and include video in addition to audio.

“This is a fantastic partnership that will expand the reach of the Destiny of Manufacturing podcast, including an audience that previously was under-connected,” said Phillips. “PMA is bringing additional resources to the podcast, including a stable of great members for guests. The new video component will allow for a greater depth of content for topics that need a visual element to convey the bigger picture. I’m excited to help PMA take another leap forward in its digital offerings!”

The first episode of the PMA/MetalForming Destiny of Manufacturing podcast will be released in early April and feature insights from PMA President David Klotz. It can be found on major platforms including Apple Podcasts, Audible, Spotify and Google Podcasts.

In addition to the podcast, PMA’s digital platform includes content on YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, the association’s monthly webinars, MetalForming LIVE and the Talking With One Voice podcast.

The Precision Metalforming Association (PMA) is the full-service trade association representing the $137 billion metalforming industry of North America—the industry that creates precision metal products using stamping, fabricating, spinning, slide forming and roll forming technologies, and other value-added processes. Its more than 900 member companies also include suppliers of equipment, materials and services to the industry.
